Appointment Policies

Arriving late will deprive you of valuable treatment and/or consultation time. We will make every effort to perform your entire treatment in the remaining scheduled time, but reserve the right to reschedule your appointment if arriving more than 10 minutes late and charge the cancellation fee. See below for details.

Cancellation / No Show Policy

At Muse, we have a 48-hour Late Cancellation / No-Show Policy in place to ensure patients can be seen in a timely manner and to respect our providers’ time. If an appointment is canceled or rescheduled less than 48 hours prior, or if the appointment is not attended, a $100 fee will be charged to the card on file.

First Late Cancel Waived
We understand that life happens. Your first late cancellation will be waived.

Extenuating Circumstances
If a late cancellation is due to unexpected circumstances such as illness, medical issues, or an emergency situation (including things like accidents or urgent family matters), the $100 fee will still be charged. However, this amount will be added to your patient wallet as a credit that can be used toward any future service or product.

Repeat Late Cancellations
If a client has late canceled or no-showed three times, a $250 booking deposit will be required for future appointments. This deposit will be applied toward services rendered at the visit. Any unused amount will remain in your patient wallet. If you reschedule with more than 48 hours’ notice, the deposit will roll to the new appointment.

Our providers are often booked weeks to months in advance, and we maintain waitlists daily. Last-minute cancellations limit our ability to offer care to others. Thank you for helping us honor the time of both our providers and fellow patients.

By scheduling an appointment, you are agreeing to this cancellation and no-show policy.

Returns & Refunds

Returns, Refunds, and Gift Cards Policy

At Muse, we strive to ensure your satisfaction with our products and services. Please carefully review the following policies:

Product Sales

  • All product sales are final, and we do not accept returns.
  • Please ensure that you carefully review your order before making a purchase.
  • There may be instances where a product is defective and eligible for a replacement. In these cases, the product must be returned to Muse with evidence of dysfunction so we can report it to the vendor.

Services and Treatments

  • We do not offer refunds for treatments or services rendered.
  • All prices for services and products are subject to change.

Gift Cards

  • Gift cards issued by Muse can only be redeemed for products or services as specified by the terms and conditions outlined with the gift card.
  • Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash.

Model Calls

  • For Model Calls, all pre-payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • These appointments cannot be rescheduled without forfeiting your place and pre-payment.

Weather & Your Appointment

At Muse, we understand that weather can be unpredictable – from winter storms to hurricanes and everything in between. Your safety is always our top priority, and we are committed to making your experience as smooth as possible, regardless of the weather conditions.

Our Commitment to You We make every effort to remain open and available for your scheduled treatments. However, if severe weather conditions force us to close any of our locations, we’ll contact you directly to reschedule your appointment at no charge. If you haven’t heard from us, we’re open and looking forward to seeing you!

When Weather Affects Your Travel Plans We recognize that weather conditions can vary greatly, even within the same area, and everyone’s comfort level with traveling during inclement weather is different. Your safety and consistent treatment schedule are important to us, so we’ve created a flexible solution:

  • If weather prevents you from attending your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible.
  • While our standard $100 cancellation fee applies for less than 24 hours' notice, we’ll automatically convert this fee into a credit in your client wallet.
  • This means the amount you paid can be applied to your rescheduled appointment, allowing you to maintain your treatment schedule and results without losing your investment.

Consultations

At Muse, we offer free consultations with one of our expert providers. We believe that an informed client with realistic expectations will be the most satisfied with their treatments and results. Our consultations include:

  • Education about your unique skin type
  • A comprehensive discussion of all available options, both immediate and long-term
  • A clear, personalized plan of action based on your individual goals

To ensure our providers can give you the attention and time you deserve, we require a card on file to book consultations. This is to protect against any no-shows or late cancellations, which will incur a $100 fee if not canceled within our cancellation window (see cancellation policy for more details).

Referrals

Muse Referral Program

If you refer a friend or family member to Muse, you will receive a $50 credit to use toward products or services. Referral credits are issued once the referred client has completed their treatment. Pregnant & Breastfeeding Patients

Protocol for Pregnant and Breastfeeding Patients

At Muse Skin Health & Aesthetics, the safety of our clients is our highest priority. Below are the guidelines and protocols for pregnant and breastfeeding patients to ensure their well-being and safety while receiving our services:

Skin Health Services

  • Pregnant and breastfeeding patients may receive select skin health treatments, including facials and non-invasive skincare services.
  • Breastfeeding patients may use low-lidocaine numbing cream for treatments like microneedling and lasers (BBL/Moxi), as it is considered safe and effective.

Injectable Treatments

  • PRF injections (topical numbing only) are permitted for breastfeeding patients only, as PRF uses the body’s own blood components and is considered safe.
  • All other injectables—including Botox, Dysport, fillers, and Sculptra—are not allowed during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

Pro-Nox (Nitrous Oxide)

  • Not permitted for pregnant patients.
  • Approved for use by breastfeeding patients during treatments for pain management.

Consultation & Clearance

  • Patients must inform their provider if they are pregnant or breastfeeding before receiving any service.
  • A consultation will be conducted to evaluate individual circumstances and determine appropriate treatment options.
  • We strongly recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before undergoing any cosmetic treatments.

At Muse, we follow the latest medical research and safety guidelines to ensure our services support your health and well-being.

Pet Policy

For the health and safety of our clients, Muse Skin Health & Aesthetics has a No-Pets Policy. While we love animals, we kindly ask that you leave your pet at home during your visit. Only working service dogs are permitted in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

If you arrive with a pet that is not a service animal, you will be asked to remove the animal from our facility. To avoid any disruption or inconvenience, please plan accordingly and leave pets at home.

We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all of our clients.

Child Policy

To ensure the safety of children and the comfort of all clients, we kindly ask that parents or guardians make alternate arrangements for children while receiving services. Due to the nature of our treatments, unattended children in the waiting area or treatment rooms may pose safety risks and disrupt the experience of others.

Children under the age of 18 receiving services must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a safe and relaxing environment at Muse Skin Health & Aesthetics.

Film & Photo Policy

In compliance with all HIPAA regulations and to protect patient privacy, taking photos or videos of other patients is strictly prohibited anywhere on Muse property.

Clients are welcome to take pictures or videos in the lobby, waiting area, or treatment rooms, as long as no other patients are visible in the shot.

Additionally, filming, recording, or photographing a Provider in a treatment room or on Muse property is not allowed without prior approval.

Allergan & Galderma Rewards Programs

Rewards Programs at Muse

Muse participates in both the Allē (Allergan) and Aspire (Galderma) rewards programs. We log your treatments to ensure you earn points for each eligible service you receive.

  • Enrollment in the rewards programs is optional but encouraged to take advantage of discounts and special offers.
  • You may sign up directly through Allē or Aspire, or we can assist you with enrollment during your first visit.
